ARTS

With the current trend of reduced funding for arts programs in public education, Austin City Academy is committed to providing a strong emphasis in all areas of the arts beginning with private and group experience in vocal and instrumental instruction. Students will be involved in group singing as well as piano/keyboard or violin/guitar classes. Private instruction for drums/percussion will be available upon request and/or availability. Drama, dance, set design, and traditional arts (painting, sculpture, etc.) will be added in the near future.

New for the 2007-2008 school year: ACA will be competing in the Fine Arts and music competition in (TAPPS) Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.
